Zuckerberg abandons Adidas sandals for Crocs

Every Valley titan has his or her steadfast trademark — Steve Jobs has his black turtleneck and John Lennon glasses, Larry Ellison has his giant back tattoo, and Mark Zuckerberg has his still-a-fratty-at-heart Adidas sandals.

Well, hold on, not so steadfast.

We were at Rudy's last night and Mr. 'Berg walked in wearing — no joke — Crocs. Sadly, we were unable to snag a photo with the low lights.

Fake Valleywag has to speculate: is this the work of Facebook COO Sheryl Sandberg?

Probably.

New Camp Cyprus Video?

We all remember the famous Camp Cyprus 20 video, in which a number of web-leets take over Daddy Warbuck's Cyprus vacation home and lip sync an all-too-prescient swan song to the second blown bubble.

Late this afternoon, the sad news flashed on the iPhones and Blackberries of Valley girls and boys: End of a snarky era: Gawker shuts down Valleywag (of course we all still read CNET).

Sadness to be sure, but we here at Fake Valleywag were so heartbroken to see Valleywag go down that we started Fake Valleywag to serve as a salve for the shocked and soon-to-be snark-starved digerati.

The damage, in the form of links to other sites, since we sure as hell can't afford writers:
